Hey there, welcome to my personal portfolio! My name is José, and I'm an aspiring cybersecurity professional with a strong foundation in programming and computer science, cultivated from a young age to learn everything that can be learnt about computers. Currently, I'm pursuing an MSc in Cybersecurity at the University of Surrey, strengthening my technical and strategic knowledge in the area.
I'm also keen on practising ethical hacking and vulnerability analysis in HTB Labs, as well as participating in CTFs whenever possible. Additionally, I'm enhancing my professional skills by pursuing CompTIA's Security+ certification, as well as CJCA from HackTheBox Academy.

Currently pursuing a master's degree in cybersecurity, focusing on advanced topics such as network security, cryptography, and ethical hacking. Also learning about cloud design and cloud security, as well as risk management and security governance. On the side, I'm also strengthening technical and strategic security knowledge and preparing for with side projects and certifications.

Built a strong foundation in computer science and software engineering, working on multiple team projects. Project ranged from low level and operating systems to web development and security systems engineering. The whole course was highly theoretical, investing on a strong understanding of the underlying principles of computing, which I find very useful to this day.
